Class is even more fun when you can eat what you make!

The sourdough bread and pizza class was fun. I enjoyed being able to have takeaways, which made it easier to hit the ground running when you got home.
If I could add some criticism, I think the time could have been used more efficiently while waiting for the dough. A better explanation around the need for a starter would have been great. I also found the instructions a bit hard to follow. I am a beginner and I think there were some assumptions that people already knew how to perform certain tasks.

These breaks are crucial in a five-hour class, ensuring that both students and the instructor can maintain energy and focus. However, I understand how they could be seen differently, and I will look into ways to make them more engaging and informative.

As for the instructions, we provided plenty of reading material to help guide you through the process. Sourdough baking involves many variables, making it a challenging but rewarding process to teach and learn. While I strive to cover all techniques thoroughly and encourage questions throughout the class, I also offer support after the class for any additional queries.
