Private Intro To Sourdough: Demo & Mini Bake

Curious about sourdough but not sure where to begin? This private session offers a calm, hands-on introduction to sourdough baking, designed entirely around you.

In this one-on-one class, you’ll step into the process and see how simple ingredients come together to create bread with depth, character, and flavour. We’ll slow things down, talk things through, and follow the sourdough process from start to finish, with plenty of time for questions along the way.

Together, we’ll explore the essential techniques that bring sourdough to life, including mixing, folding, scoring, and baking. You’ll see fermentation in action, taste a selection of sourdough bakes, and take part in a simple mini bake so you can experience the process firsthand.

This private format allows us to adapt the class to your curiosity, your kitchen, and your comfort level. There’s no pressure to keep up with a group and no rush to move on before things make sense. The goal is not perfection, but understanding, confidence, and enjoyment.

By the end of the session, you’ll have a fresh bake, a dried sourdough starter to revive at home, and a clear sense of how sourdough works so you can continue baking in your own kitchen.

Private Intro to Sourdough: Demo & Mini Bake is suitable for complete beginners and requires no prior sourdough experience.
